Our world is always on the move. Day by day we influence concepts and ideas of the world, make things different and developing new forms of perception. Naturally, such changes can be also observed in the world of fashion and aesthetics. Every person wants to look fashionable and stylish, be in the lime — light and cult figure for a lot of people.

But we never think what fashion is indeed. We just got used to wear high- quality clothes in our everyday’s life, to have a great choice between hundreds of different things. Such multiple choice does not allow us to be in need of something. We have all we want. As a result the majority of people does not have answers to the following questions: Is the concept of fashion and aesthetics similar in every detail? Are the ideas of dressing fashionable and looking out aesthetically equal? In this article I will try to give clear – cut answers.

Since ancient times there was a certain standard of beauty, in other words, someone, who set an example to others. But is it possible to become such an icon nowadays? In my opinion it is impossible and worthless. The idol is a higher rank and is only imaginary abstraction. We all have diverse ideas about ideal and they are changing over times. That is why the concept of beauty is also changing. For example, model business.

Slim, even «dry» men are in trend now. But in few years there will not be any slim model, because this type of men won’t be on the top of popularity. Moreover it may seem ugly. Similar is the way choosing clothes and shoes. For some aesthetic means business suits, other find fashionable jeans more attractive. Break dancers, for example, like wide pants, because they are comfortable and express their style. This fact can be explained like everyone has its own taste and concept of aesthetics. Certainly we can change it during our development. And I would like to talk about aesthetics. What does it mean?

Aesthetics — is a branch ofphilosophy dealing with the nature of art, beauty, and taste, with the creation and appreciation of beauty. More broadly, scholars in the field define aesthetics as «critical reflection on art, culture and nature. In other words, aesthetics studies how people perceive the external world. Another definition of this word — the science of beauty. So… words, nice clothes, nice shoes, nice hat — each of these are aesthetics. But since every concept of beauty is different, each hat is nice in different way.

Let`s make a comparison of celebrities. An outstanding TV presenter Kate Osadcha appreciates all sorts of beautiful fancy hats, which attract the attention of the public. This way she shows her own understanding of beauty. But the famous grandmaster Garry Kasparov accepts only usual beautiful fabric hats, which embody elegance and efficiency.

Nowadays, fabric hats are considered unfashionable, though they look aesthetically. It depends on the personal choice of each. Selection is based on the person, the era she or he lives at what stage of human development of emerging ideas about different things, including aesthetics. To sum up, we can make own conclusions that the fluidity of time, human aesthetic preferences and the concept of aesthetics are interdependent. Just look at this example.

At the beginning of the 20 century there were mobile phones German brand- Siemens. Every person used to have such mobile device like Siemens A50. It was made qualitatively, chubby, had the function of sending SMS messages and simple games like «Snake», «Tetris» and so on. It was really fashionable at that time, and this model had an aesthetic look. But with the development of science and technology Siemens was forced out and replaced by new brands. Phone this brand ran out of fashion, because the concept of aesthetics has changed. Instead of keyboards «brick» came touch «tiles». It was a new idea of aesthetic.

The same situation prevails over clothing. Previously our ancestors and great-grandfather wore embroidered shirts. It was very fashionable in Ukraineand delightfully. What is more each region had its own tradition of folk decoration shirt. They were extremely popular. However, due to certain circumstances (repression of the Russian Empire and then the Soviet Union), Ukrainian had to abandon their national colorful clothes.

But then, depending on some circumstances, that a military conflict with Russia in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, embroidery again become popular, and every citizen is aimed to buy this renewal. That is, under the pressure of external circumstances, fashion changed again, beauty has gained historical character. This proves helicity of history. External factors change fashion and aesthetics too.

But what does it mean to look fashionable and aesthetically to suit every taste? Of course, this is not possible, as this may make only an ideal, and it, as mentioned above, is unattainable. We can only get closer. But everyone can have lovely modern look. These are the main aspects of good- looking:

Hairstyle. It should be clean, not to attract undue attention, but at the same time cause admiration. If you have a mustache or beard — they require special care.

Clothes. It is more complicated. I will not talk on this topic for too long, but clothes should require the criteria of modern man, be nice, tidy, upper and lower parts of the clothes should be the same.
Shoes. Perhaps the most important things in our life — good bed and comfortable shoes. After all, we spend a lifetime in bed, or in the shoe, «- said Marcel Achard. It must be carefully cleaned, neat, fit the clothes or accessories.

Accessories. For men, it can be watch, bracelet, glasses etc. for women — more choice. But you should remember that too many accessories — are not aesthetically pleasing.

Cosmetics. If you are a woman, it will be a part of your image. Cosmetics should emphasize your facial features match the image more. Much makeup is not the right thing. The real beauty is a natural beauty! And most importantly: everything should match each other. Because when you clothe green hat, red shirt, blue pants with pink polka dots and moccasins, people think you ran away from the circus. Everything should look natural, harmonious.

So, if you follow all these rules and tips, the people will arise positive thoughts about you and your preferences. Everyone will hold you up as an example and take you for an ideal. To make long story short, the factor of people’s success and popularity is the ability to present yourself. If you learn how to be modern and aesthetic, every person, friend, colleague or just an acquaintance will respect you.
